The Ultra Easy Top is a basic top made in a single piece of garter stitch. It is made with simple techniques - perfect for beginners. It can both be used as a summer top when created in light yarn or as a feminine autumn slipover created in wool.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)
Measurements:
Bust circumference: 85 (90) 96 (102) 110 (119) 127 (136) cm.
Length: 50 (52) 54 (56) 58 (60) 61 (64) cm.
Gauge: 19 stitches x 36 rows (counted as 18 ridges) in a garter stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.
Needles: 4 mm circular needles (80 cm)
Yarn alternative 1: 2 strands of Drops Flora (50g=210m). You will need: 6 (6) 7 (8) 8 (8) 9 (10) balls.
Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Baby Merino (50g=175m). You will need: 4 (4) 4 (5) 5 (5) 6 (6) balls.
Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Drops Belle (50g=120m). You will need: 5 (5) 6 (7) 7 (7) 8 (9) balls.
Yarn alternative 4: 1 strand of Sandnes Line (50g=110m). You will need: 5 (6) 6 (7) 7 (8) 9 (10) balls.
The top can be made with 1 strand or 2 strands. A top in 1 strand will become a light summer top whilst a top in 2 strands will become a nice autumn top that is slightly thicker.
