The Ultra Easy Ruffle Socks is a pair of super easy to make socks. They are worked from the top and down towards the toe in a stockinette stitch. They have a cute ruffle detail at the top. The heel is solely shaped by making increases and decreases, which makes this pair perfect for beginners!

Sizes: S (M) L corresponding to the EU shoe sizes 35/37 (38/40) 41-44
Measurements:
Circumference: 17 (19) 19 cm
Length: 22/23 (25/26) 27/28 cm. This is easily adjustable
Gauge: 21 stitches x 28 rows in a stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Needles: 4 mm circular needles (25 / 40 cm)
Yarn alternative 1: 2 strands of Mayflower Class 1 Cashmere (50g=210m). You will need 2 (2) 3 balls
Yarn alternative 2: 2 strands of Mayflower Class 1 (50g=210m). You will need 2 (2) 3 balls

I’m a real beginner and I thought it was really easy to follow. I only made the socks and didn’t add the ruffle though because I didn’t get how to pick up the stitches(now I know more I might add it later)

Elsker disse strømper og har virkelig fået mod på at strikke strømper nu. Jeg varierer alt efter lyst, så nogle har jeg strikke med rib og nogle uden. Jeg har dog indført fem rækker uden indtagning, eller udtagning, efter udtagningen på hælen (inden indtagningen), da jeg så synes at pasformen bliver endnu bedre :D
Men ret lette at strikke, når man lige har fanget magic-loop tricket :)
Og så laver jeg ikke drejet ret, når jeg laver indtagninger på tået - kun alm. indtagning, da den bliver mere glat og fin synes jeg :)
Love how the body of the sock works up, and the heel is super easy compaired to other patterns I've tried and has a good shape and fit. I did have some serious issues with the ruffle itself, even as a fairly expirenced knitter. I typically have a tighter tension when working and it made the stitches for the ruffle extremely difficult to work the further out I got.
