Ultra Easy Pilot Hat is an easy and simple pilot hat made in a garter stitch with simple techniques, which makes it perfect for the beginner. It is worked from the bottom up and shaped by decreases and increases.

Sizes: 1-3 months (3-6 months) 6-12 months (1-2 years) 2-4 years

Gauge: 20 stitches x 40 rows in a garter stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (60 cm)

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 balls HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Hobbii Boucle (50g=80m). You will need 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball. 

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=110m). You will need 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 balls. HELD TOGETHER with 2 strands of Drops Alpaca Boucle (50g=140m). You will need 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball.

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Lana Grossa Cool Wool Big (50g=125m). You will need 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 balls. HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Lana Grossa Orsetto (50g=75m). You will need 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 ball.
