Ultra Easy Laptop Cover

The Ultra Easy Laptop Cover is a simple and stylish cover made in a moss stitch. The cover is crocheted in the round with multiple strands of yarn held together to protect the laptop. At the end, a flap, buttons and a double crochet edge are all added to give the cover a nice finish. The laptop cover has been designed with simple techniques and a repetitive pattern. This makes it a great project for the person who would like to learn how to crochet.

Sizes: 30 x 22 cm (33 x 24 cm) 37 x 26 cm. Corresponding to 11"-12"

(13"-14") 15"-16" computer or tablet. The length is easily adjustable.

Gauge: 14 stitches x 14 rows in a moss stitch with a 5,5 mm crochet hook= 10 x 10 cm

Crochet hook: 5,5 mm crochet hook and 4,5 mm

Yarn alternative 1: 2 strands of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need 5 (5) 6 balls. HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Friends Cotton 8/8 (50g=75m). You will need 3 (4) 5 balls.

Yarn alternative 2: 2 strands of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 5 (5) 6 balls. HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Drops Paris (50g=75m). You will need 3 (4) 5 balls.

Yarn alternative 3: 2 strands of Sandnes Double Sunday (50g=108m). You will need 5 (5) 6 balls. You will need 5 (5) 6 balls. HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Sandnes Tykk Line (50g=60m). You will need 4 (5) 6 balls. 

The yarn usage stated above is the total amount of yarn you will need. This means that if you are making the cover in 2 or more colours, you will need to divide the amount of yarn balls with the number of colours you are using to know how many balls of yarn you will need of each colour.
