Ultra Easy Beach Bag - Crochet

The Ultra Easy Beach Bag is a simple and spacious bag. It is perfect for beach trips or shopping trips. The bag is worked from the bottom up. First, the bottom of the bag is worked in double crochet stitches. Then, the main part of the bag is worked in a simple hole pattern. Straps are then worked in double crochet stitches.

This pattern uses UK crochet terminology.

Size:  ONE SIZE

Measurements:

Width: 50 cm

Height: 40 cm without straps. This is easily adjustable.

Gauge: 21 stitches (7 V-stitches) x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm in V-stitches

Crochet hook: 4.5 mm 

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Friends Cotton 8/8. (50g=75m). You will need: 9 balls. 

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of LindeHobby Twisted Paper Yarn (150g=250m). You will need: 3 balls. The beige bag in the pictures has been made with paper yarn. NOTE! This yarn cannot be washed.

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Drops Bomull-Lin (50g=85m). You will need: 8 balls. 

Yarn alternative 4: 2 strands of Crealino Lang Yarn (50g=165m). You will need: 8 balls.
