The Ultra Easy Baby Blanket has been designed for someone who would like to learn how to crochet. You will slowly be introduced to the most basic crochet techniques, while creating a soft baby blanket in a moss stitch. The simple and repetitive pattern, that consists of chains and double crochet stitches, makes this pattern a perfect choice for your first crochet project. The blanket is finished with an edge of double crochet stitches along the entire blanket. This gives it a beautiful and clean look. The blanket fits perfectly in the pram, in the lift, or for a cosy snuggle at home.

Sizes: 60 x 80 cm (80 x 100 cm)

Gauge: 19 stitches x 17 rows in a moss stitch on a 4,5 mm hook = 10 x 10 cm

Crochet hook: 4,5 mm and 3,5 mm crochet hook

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need: 7 (11) balls. 

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Hobbii Happy Place (100g=250m). You will need: 3 (5) balls. 

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 7 (11) balls. 

Yarn alternative 4: 1 strand of Sandnes Double Sunday (50g=108m). You will need: 7 (11) balls.

The yarn usage stated above is the total amount of yarn you will need for the entire blanket. This means that if you are making the blanket in 2 or more colours, you will need to divide the amount of yarn balls with the number of colours you are using to figure out how many balls of yarn you will need of each colour.
