Easy Colour Mix Sweater Adult

Easy Color Mix Sweater is made in a stockinette stitch. The upper part of the sweater is worked in one colour, whilst the bottom of the sweater is worked in a simple bicoloured pattern. The sweater is worked from the top down. This project is the perfect opportunity to learn how to work with two colours at the same time.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL)

Measurements:  

Circumference: about 95 (100) 107 (114 (121) 130 (135 (144) cm

Length: about 50 (55) 57 (58) 60 (61) 62 (62) cm 

Gauge: 17 stitches x 24 rows in a stockinette stitch on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 5 mm circular needle (80 + 40 cm) for the monocoloured part + 6 mm circular needle (80 + 40 cm) for the bicoloured part. 4 mm circular needle (40 + 80 cm) for the ribbed edges. 

The sweater is worked in two colours: A base colour that the monocoloured upper part of the sweater will be worked in, and a contrast colour that will be worked with the base colour to create the bicoloured bottom part of the sweater.

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need: 6 (8) 8 (8) 9 (9) 10 (11) balls of the base colour and 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 (4) 4 (5) balls of the contrast colour.  Optionally held together with a strand of Hobbii Friends Kid Silk (25g=210m). You will need: 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 (5) 5 (5) balls of the base colour and 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls of the contrast colour. 

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 6 (8) 8 (8) 9 (9) 10 (11) balls of the base colour and 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 (4) 4 (5) balls of the contrast colour.  Optionally held together with a strand of Drops Kid Silk (25g=210m). You will need: 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 (5) 5 (5) balls of the base colour and 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls of the contrast colour.

Easy Colour Mix Sweater Baby

Easy Colour Mix Sweater Baby is made in a stockinette stitch. The sweater is worked from the top down. Sleeves and ribbed edges are added at the end. The simple bicoloured pattern is worked only in the round. This project is the perfect opportunity to learn how to work with two colours at the same time. 

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6) 6-9 (9-12) 12-18 (18-24) months 

Measurements:

Circumference: 48 (52) 56 (60) 64 (68) cm

Length: 25 (26) 27 (28) 30 (32) cm

Gauge: 20 stitches x 30 rows in a stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (60 cm) for the monocoloured part + 5 mm circular needle (60 cm) for the bicoloured part + 3 mm circular needle (40 + 60 cm) for the ribbed edges. 

The sweater is worked in two colours: A base colour that the monocoloured upper part of the sweater will be worked in, and a contrast colour that will be worked with the base colour to create the bicoloured bottom part of the sweater.
