Even though Easy Square Vest is a beginner-friendly knit it is very fashionable with the check pattern! The vest is knit primarily using two basic techniques: knit and purl. If you have not learned these yet just follow the video guides for every step mentioned – then we will finish this vest together! The Easy Basic Vest is knit using chunky wool which makes it a quick knit that is warm enough for the colder weather. It can easily be paired with a shirt.

Measurements for sizes:

Chest measurement: 80 (87) 95 (101) 109 (116) cm

Length: 48 (50) 53 (55) 58 (61) cm

Gauge: 11 stitches x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm 

Needles: 8 mm (60 or 80 cm) circular needles

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Drops Snow (50g=50m). You will need: 6 (7) 8 (8) 9 (9) balls

Yarn alternative 2: 2 strands of Drops Air (50g=150m). You will need: 4 (5) 5 (6) 6 (6) balls
