The Easy Square Neck is a neck warmer made in a beginner friendly chequered pattern that only consists of knits and purls. You start by making the front piece followed by the back piece. Then, the neck is added.

Sizes: S/M (L/XL)

Measurements:

Neck circumference: 45 (48) cm.

Width of front and back piece: 36 (41) cm. 

Length of front and back piece: 28 (30) cm.

Gauge: 17 stitches x 26 rows in the chequered pattern on 4 mm needles  = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (80 cm) and 3 mm (40 cm)

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need: 3 (4) balls. optionally HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Kid Silk (25g=210m). You will need: 2 (2) balls

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 3 (4) balls. optionally HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Drops Kid Silk (25g=210m). You will need: 2 (2) balls

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Sandnes Double Sunday (50g=108m). You will need: 3 (4) balls. optionally HELD TOGETHER with 1 strand of Sandnes Tynn Silk Mohair (25g=210m). You will need: 2 (2)
