This beanie is the perfect project for the newbie knitter. You will slowly be introduced to the most basic technique: The knit stitch. The beanie is knitted from the bottom and up. It is made as a long tube that is folded at the end to create a beautiful, chunky edge that will keep your ears warm.

Sizes: 2-3 (4-5) 6-7 (8-9) 10-11 (12-13) years
Circumference: 36 (40) 44 (46) 48 (50) cm
Knitting gauge: 20 stitches x 28 rows in a stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm
Needles: 4 mm circular needle, 40 cm
Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) balls. And, if you wish, with an additional strand of Drops Kid Silk (25g=210m). You will need: 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball
