Easy Patent Top is a feminine summer top that is made from the top down. The top was created with a wish to teach more knitters how to work with the patent stitch (also known as brioche). Therefore, every technique and all steps are explained thoroughly with complementary video guides. Difficult patent techniques have deliberately not been included in this pattern. The top has a short fit but can easily be made longer due to the top down construction.

It's the second time that I want to start with this top, but my stitch sample never fits. I tried many different needles and use the yarn which is recommended. I tried to knit more tight or lose, but I never get a sample with 44 rows on 10cm. The difference is too big to ignore it (14x 22) and I don't know what to do.
I started this top as a somewhat advanced beginner and it’s pretty well written. I only struggled with understanding how to work the patent stitch in the round, and unfortunately had to rely on other sources to get the hang of it, hence 4/5 stars. The top itself turned out great!
Nice 👌
I can't give it 5 stars as I have yet to make the item. but buying the pattern was very easy.
Thank you for the review We are glad you found the process easy Happy knitting!
