The Easy Moss Stitch Sweater Baby is a simple sweater crocheted from the top down in moss stitch. The sweater features a classic raglan construction, where the yoke is shaped with increases before stitches are divided for the body and sleeves. The sweater is crocheted in stripes using a base colour and a contrast colour. You can crochet all the contrast stripes in the same colour or let the contrast colour change as you go, depending on the look you want.

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6) 6-9 (9-12) 12-18 (18-24) months 

Measurements:

Circumference: 52 (54) 58 (61) 65 (67) cm

Length: 26 (27) 28 (29) 30 (32) cm. Can be easily adjusted.

Gauge: 19 stitches x 17 rows in moss stitch on 5 mm hook = 10 x 10 cm

Crochet hook: 5 mm crochet hook 

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Divina (50g=150m). You will need: 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) balls of the base colour and 1 (1) 1 (2) 2 (2) balls of the contrast colour. 

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need: 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (4) balls of the base colour and 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls of the contrast colour. 

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (4) balls of the base colour and 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls of the contrast colour. 

Yarn alternative 4: 1 strand of Sandnes Double Sunday (50g=108m). You will need: 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (4) balls of the base colour and 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls of the contrast colour.

Yarn usage when working with multiple contrast colours: If you wish to make the sweater with multiple contrast colours, you must divide the amount of yarn balls you need in the contrast colour by the number of colours you wish to use as your contrast colours.
