Easy Flower Slipover Baby

The Easy Flower Slipover Baby is a slipover worked in a stockinette stitch with a simple flower pattern. The slipover is worked from the top down. The flower pattern is only worked in the round and you will only ever work with 2 colours at a time. This makes the pattern a great opportunity to learn how to work with two colours at the same time.

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6) 6-9 (9-12) 12-18 (18-24) months 

Measurements:

Circumference: 48 (52) 56 (60) 64 (68) cm

Length:  25 (27) 30 (34) 36 (38) cm

Gauge: 20 stitches x 30 rows in a stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (60 + 40 cm) and 3 mm circular needle (60 + 40 cm)

The slipover is worked in three colours: A base colour that the upper part of the slipover is worked in, and two contrast colours that are used to create the flower pattern on the bottom part of the slipover.

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) balls in the base colour and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 1 (flowers) and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 2 )(stems). 

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Copenhagen Fibers Merino (50g=108m). You will need 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) balls in the base colour and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 1 (flowers) and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 2 )(stems). 

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) balls in the base colour and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 1 (flowers) and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 2 )(stems). 

Yarn alternative 4: 1 strand of Sandnes Peer Gynt (50g=91m). You will need 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) balls in the base colour and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 1 (flowers) and 1 (1) 1 (1) 1 (1) ball in contrast colour 2 )(stems).
