The Easy Colour Stripe Sweater is a great basic sweater for your wardrobe. The fun stripe pattern is a great opportunity to learn how to do colourwork. The sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases. Initially, it is worked back and forth to shape the neckline. Then, the piece is connected to work in the round. You will be working the simple stripe pattern repeat as you make the sweater.

Measurements:

Circumference: 98 (106) 110 (116) 120 (126) 130 (140) cm

Length: 60 (62) 64 (66) 68 (69) 70 (70) cm. This is easily adjustable.

Gauge: 20 stitches x 28 rows in a stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (40 cm + 80 cm) for the monocoloured part + 5 mm circular needle (40 cm + 80 cm) for the colourwork

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). Depending on the size, you will need: 8 (8) 9 (10) 11 (11) 12 (13) balls of the base colour. AND 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (4) 4 (5) balls of contrast colour 1 AND 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (3) balls of contrast colour 2.
