Easy Basic Sweater looks good with almost everything. It is knit on thick needles using chunky yarn and therefore it is a fast and easy knitting project. It is worked up using simple techniques which makes it a great choice as one of your first projects. The sweater’s simple look gives you the opportunity to pick several colour combinations. Perhaps you would like to knit the ribbing in a contrast colour.

Measurements for sizes:
Chest measurements: 96 (100) 108 (116) 120 (132) cm
Length: 48 (51) 54 (56) 58 (60) cm. Can easily be adjusted
Gauge: 10 stitches x 15 rows of stockinette on 10 mm needles = 10x10 cm
Needles: 7 mm (40 cm) and 10 mm (40 + 60 or 80 cm) circular needles
Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need 5 (5) 6 (7) 7 (8) balls. Held together with 1 strand of Drops Melody (50g=140m). You will need 4 (4) 5 (5) 5 (6) balls
Yarn alternative 2: 2 strands of Drops Air (50g=150m). You will need 6 (7) 8 (9) 10 (10) balls.
