Easy Edgy Vest English

The Easy Edgy Vest is a retro v-neck vest that is made in a colour pattern repeated with two different colours. This pattern is for the knitter who wants to learn how to create a multicoloured pattern. The vest is made from the bottom up. As a finishing touch, a twisted rib stitch is added to both the armholes and the neckline. The vest has a slightly oversized fit.

Measurements:

Bust circumference: 90 (100) 105 (110) 120 (125) 135 (145) cm

Length: 48 (50) 52 (56) 60 (60) 60 (60) cm

Gauge: 16 stitches x 18 rows in a stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 6 mm circular needle (80 cm) and 4 mm circular needle (40+80 cm)

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Drops Air (50g=150m). Buy/view the yarn here. Depending on the size you will need: 2 (2) 2 (3) 3 (3) 3 (4)  balls of the main colour and 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) balls of the contrasting colour

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Nepal (50g=75m). Buy/ view the yarn here. Depending on the size you will need: 3 (4) 4 (4) 4 (5) 6 (6) balls of the main colour and 2 (3) 3 (3) 3 (4) 5 (5) balls of the contrasting colour

The main colour is also used for the ribbed edges.
