Easy Square Neck Junior

The Easy Square Neck is a neck warmer made in a beginner friendly chequered pattern that only consists of knits and purls. You start by making the front piece followed by the back piece. Then, the neck is added.

Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Wool (50g=100m). You will need: 2 (3) 3 (3) balls

Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Lima (50g=100m). You will need: 2 (3) 3 (3) balls.

Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Sandnes Double Sunday (50g=108m). You will need: 2 (3) 3 (3) balls

Sizes: 2 (3-5) 6-9 (10-12) years

Measurements:

Neck circumference: about 27 (40) 43 (43) cm.

Width of front and back piece: 21 (25) 30 (35) cm. 

Length of front and back piece: 19 (20) 24 (26) cm.

Gauge: 17 stitches x 26 rows in the chequered pattern on 4 mm needles  = 10 x 10 cm

Needles: 4 mm circular needle (80 cm) and 3 mm (40 cm)
