I ordered this pattern for a future project. I think it will be nice with a small quick project in between. I have used other patterns from "Easy as Knit". Especially if you are a beginner, you will like these patterns.
I did enjoy this knit and was able to finish it as a beginner, but there were a few details left out of that would have been helpful to have - eg. when casting off stitches you actually have to count the stitch left on your needle. This wasn’t explained at all and so I ended up with the wrong amount and had to frog and start again. Also the picking up stitches section was really hard to follow and wasn’t specific enough for me as a beginner. But otherwise it was a good beginner friendly pattern!
It really is very easy, and I love it!
I've started knitting this year and felt overwhelmed with most of the "easy" patterns I've found on other websites. With easy as knit I, a bloody beginner, finally found a comprehensible pattern. Not only was it easy and fun to knit, but it also looks great and is a new fav in my closet.
