There is magic in knitting and crocheting.

We, Elisabeth and Christine, believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience this magic. That is why we founded easy as knit in November 2020.

When Christine started knitting during the pandemic, she realized how difficult it can be to get started as a beginner. Elisabeth helped her along, and that experience sparked a shared vision: to create a community where beginners can find the guidance, support, and explanations we ourselves lacked when we were learning to knit. easy as knit is therefore built on the desire to offer guided learning, clear instructions, and a welcoming community where everyone, regardless of skill level, can grow and experience the joy of knitting. Since our inception, we’ve expanded our universe with three books: easy as knit – ultra easy, Nem Barselsstrik for alle, and our latest release, easy. The books reflect our approach: crafting is best learned by doing.

Today, easy as knit is a growing brand, but our vision remains the same: to make learning and understanding easier through our concepts and patterns. And to give beginners a safe and enjoyable experience using the tools we ourselves lacked when we first started knitting and crocheting.
