The Ultra Easy Bucket Hat is designed specifically for someone who would like to learn how to crochet. The pattern slowly introduces the most basic crochet techniques. The bucket hat is crocheted from the top down in a granny stitch. The brim is made with double crochet stitches.

Sizes: 1-3 (6-9) 12-18 months
Gauge: 16 stitches x 10 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Crochet hook: 4 mm hook, or the size you achieve the correct gauge with
Yarn alternative 1: 1 strand of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8. (50g=75m). You will need: 2 (2) 2 balls + a small amount in a different colour for the edge
Yarn alternative 2: 1 strand of Drops Paris (50g=75m). You will need: 2 (2) 2 balls + a small amount in a different colour for the edge
Yarn alternative 3: 1 strand of Sandnes Tykk Line (50g=60m). You will need: 2 (2) 2 balls + a small amount in a different colour for the edge
Yarn shown in the photo: The green/blue version is crocheted in Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 in colours 93 and 104, alternating colours every round.
The light pink version is crocheted in Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 in colours 53 and 12.
